Q:  How long should I expect to wait to reach the top of the list?
A:  The busiest time of the year is typically prior to the start of the fall semester of high school or university, and it may be 3-4 months to reach the top.

Q: How can I be sure I am on the list for a consultation?
A: You should have received a confirmation email.  Please check your junk mail. If you can't find a confirmation email, send an email to [email protected].

Q: I am waiting for a consultation. How long will I need to wait for an invitation to become a client?
A: We give each client the time and attention needed for a quality consultation, so the list can move at different speeds. Invitations are sent as current consultations are completed, but the exact timing depends on how many people ahead of you accept or withdraw. While we can't provide an exact date, rest assured that your invitation will come as soon as your place in line is reached.

Q: When I signed up for a consultation, I understood from the website I might have to wait 3 months to become a client.  That much time has passed and I have not received an invitation.  What should I do?
A: The time from signing up to receiving an invitation varies, and we try to maintain accurate estimates on our website. We apologize and hope you can continue to wait.

Q: I signed my daughter up for a consultation and she just received an invitation to become a client.  Can I transfer her invitation to someone else?
A: Your invitation applies only to the person originally identified when you signed up-- in this case, your daughter. While someone else may pay for this service, invitations are not transferable to a different individual. To ensure fairness, each entry on the consultation list is specific to the name of the person to be assessed.

Q: Can I sign up for a consultation multiple times?
A: You may have more than one entry, such as to have more than one person in your family be assessed, but do not request to add the same person multiple times.  Personality Science may limit the number of persons you place on the list. Positions on the list and invitations we send are not transferable, as they are specific to the person to be assessed.

Q: What if I need to change some information I provided when I requested a consultation?
A: When we send an invitation to become a client, you can then update us on the contact details of the person to be assessed.  If you need to change YOUR contact details prior to receiving an invitation, send an email to [email protected].

Q: I just noticed today that you emailed me an invitation to become a client a week ago.  Can I still accept?
A: We allow up to 3 days for each invitation to be accepted.  After that time, we move the invited person to the bottom of the list, and send an invitation to the person who is then on the top of the list.

Q: I want to remove an entry from the waitlist. What should I do? 
​A: If we don't get a response to multiple invitations we send for an entry, we remove the entry from the list.  If you want to have an entry removed  immediately, send an email to [email protected] with "remove from waitlist" in the subject line, and the name of the person who was to be assessed in the body of the email.

Q: The website shows the price of a consultation is higher now than it was when I signed up. What will I have to pay if I am invited to become a client?
A: If you receive an invitation to become a client, you will pay the price that was in effect when you signed up. Please note that this policy may change in the future, but currently invitations honor the original  price.
